RV Parking at Fryeburg Fair Maine
by Diana
(Hudson, NH)
Fryeburg Fair has horses, goats, llamas, poultry, rabbits, sheep swine, oxen and steer.
I'm trying to find out if there is RV space with hook-ups at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds for a few days. If so, can we get a phone number to contact someone......
Thank you,
Diana

Yes Diana, as of this writing there are RV sites available at the Fryeburg Fair campgrounds for the 2010 fair. As a matter of fact, I just got off the phone with a woman who takes reservations and she confirmed availability.
Both Fryeburg Fair camping areas, the Fairview Campground and Trackside Campground, have RV space available, at $24 and $29 (slide-out) a night.
The camping reservation number is: 207-935-2912. I am told there is someone at that number from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
For anyone reading this who doesn't know what we are talking about...
In 1851, farmers and merchants gathered in a small town in the southwest corner of Maine to show off their produce, cattle, and wares. Over one-hundred-fifty years later, at the Fryeburg Fair Maine they are still doing the same...
...having made this one of the most notable agricultural events in North America.
