Where can I find a bed and breakfast on the beach in Rockland, Maine and enjoy some lobster?

The Maine Office of Tourism website may be your best resource for finding a Rockland, Maine vacation, beach bed and breakfast. On their website at, www.visitmaine.com, visitors can use the "Lodging" link to search for Maine accommodations broken down by...
...Bed & Breakfast, Camping, Hotel, Vacation Rentals, Housekeeping Cottages, Inn, Motel, Resort, Sporting Camp and Windjammer Cruise...
... and by Keyword (in your case the word "beach"), a Town, a Region, or any combination of these choices.
The Maine lodging search can also include Handicap Accessible, Environmental Leader, Online Reservations, and French Speaking.
One thing to keep in mind...
The largest expanses of wide open sandy beaches are along the southern Maine coast, in towns such as...
...York, Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunkport and Old Orchard.
Once you move northward to the Greater Portland and Casco Bay Region, and the Mid Coast Region (where Rockland is located), the coastline becomes rockier, with less beach area.
However, scattered throughout the Mid Coast area are many less crowded beaches in gorgeous secluded coves. For this reason, you may want to include the entire Mid Coast area in your search and not limit it to Rockland Maine B&B's.
As for finding Maine lobster...
No matter where you travel in Maine, particularly along Maine's coast, you will find lobster shacks, and casual and fine dining restaurants, that serve fresh Maine lobster and other local seafood in a variety of taste-tempting recipes.
I hope you enjoy your Rockland, Maine vacation!
Best regards,
