created it
My name is Liz,
and simply put... I
love Maine. Who visits Maine and doesn't fall
in
love with it? No one that I know. So...
When I was
thinking about creating a travel
website, it only seemed natural to pour my passion into a project
called
Great-Maine-Vacations.com,
the Unofficial
Maine Travel Guide.
Oh yes, there are dozens of other places where I
have traveled and been in awe. But most are faraway places
that I may never see again. But Maine - I have visited over
and over, and will,
again and again.
Creating a Maine Vacations Travel Guide
My husband and I are lucky enough to have called
New
Hampshire (Maine's only bordering state) home, for well over 30 years.
Day trips to Maine, weekend getaways in Maine, and
week-long travel around the state of Maine have been just hours away
for us.
Now, after years of exploring Maine beaches,
mountains, and many places in between, I am ready for
the challenge...
...of
creating a good
Maine Travel Guide, if not a great
Maine Travel Guide - which along with MY favorite places in
Maine, will contain ALL of the best
places to visit in Maine. Or, as many Maine tourist
attractions
as I have time to
write about!
Although my project will always be a work in
progress, bit by bit it
will come together. Join in the fun, if you would like.
