Maine Lobster Fest and Lobster Fishing Vacation

My husband, I and another couple are wanting to come to Rockland during the Maine Lobster Festival. We are wanting to stay in a B&B and we also want to lobster fish. We are looking for one of those cruses where we trap our own lobster and then get to enjoy eating our catch. Can you help us find that type of vacation? Thanks.

The Maine Lobster Fest, lobster fishing, and a stay at a local B&B all sound like a wonderful Mid-coast Maine vacation!

Rockland will be crowded during the 2011 Maine Lobster Festival, just as it is every year. It's good that you are already making your plans.

You will have several choices for a bed and breakfast in Rockland, Maine. The Historic Inns of Rockland, which include...

I hope you enjoy your Rockland, Maine vacation. There are lots of fun attractions and things to do in Rockland and nearby.

The Farnsworth Museum in Rockland is popular with many tourists, as is the Maine Lighthouse Museum, and the nearly mile long Rockland Harbor Breakwater that leads out to the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse.

Just a short drive from Rockland you can visit the Owl's Head Light State Park and the picturesque towns of Camden and Rockport, Maine.
