For years I have had the LL Bean Visa card which provides free shipping (including free return shipping!), free monograms and LL Bean coupons towards future purchases. Thus my incentive to become a frequent shopper - in the LL Bean Store, the LL Bean Outlet and through the LL Bean catalog. I can say - first-hand - that LL Bean customer service is one of the best in the industry and that their employees certainly live up to the LL Bean motto: "GUARANTEED. You Have Our Word." End of sales pitch! Trust me - I'm not involved with them in any way. I just feel that any company providing such outstanding service deserves the praise. Please note: My comments regarding the benefits provided with the LL Bean credit card certainly may have changed since the time of this writing.
